The basic sin of this decent short animation remains its darkness. Not only for winter atmosphere but for story itself. The poor enloved hedgehog seems dominated more by frustration than emotions or timidity. The hurt of blue lady is just terrible in every sense. The gift not covers a tension becoming bigger. And a love story, delicate and touching as premises, becomes a sort of horror.
