Provocative and Inspiring
mcphail-3826827 March 2015
After watching three screenings of "Final Pose" at the Bend Film Festival, we were profoundly moved. The honest presentation of the powerful final words, spoken by this brave, beautiful and gentle person are both inspiring and overwhelming. Many lessons here, about the value of life, and the right to die a reasonable death. Passing over doesn't need to be cruel. If God allows us to find complex and extraordinary methods of keeping us alive, why would God not equally endorse methods of easing the pain and the path of dying?

Producer Karin Mellberg must have struggled greatly as she refined and clarified the final interviews with her friend Myra Lani. It is clear from the tone and the gentle touches, that she and her collaborators were exposing many personal feelings -- above all, their love of Myra and of her messages.
