An underrated claymation film Warning: Spoilers
This was apparently the first stop-motion feature length film from Spain; I remember seeing it many years ago, finding it to be simultaneously haunting and memorable.

There is a clear influence of anime here, not so much in the visuals, but in the plot. Akira in particular seems to be its main inspiration, particularly in the sequences featuring the nightmares of the protagonist.

Despite its childish aesthetic, the plot is rather bleak and filled with eerie moments.

Definitively deserves more recognition, being such an unique piece, specially back then in the late nineties.
