Deliciously stupid

This movie is so stupid, but I laughed and had a good time. It's full of wisecracks and just, well, stupid.

It was okay.

Nothing special or original, but it was entertaining. The redneck mom was kind of funny. The ending was a tad ridiculous.

crappy redneck thriller full of reverse racism
writeagain11 September 2016
Ridiculous story line, ridiculous casting. All cops are big black guys. Blonde redneck- maniac-brothers kidnap and rape blonde chicks. Of course the maniacs are super-religious Christians. The dialogues they have with their mom are on kindergarten level. I guess reverse racism is the safest way for bad movies in US nowadays. But is way too blatant in this case. Having read the screenwriter Jeff Rosenberg's twitter I am not at all surprised he wrote up this mess. And the director seems to be fixated on rape stories. His previous movie didn't even get a single review on IMDb. At least this one had a few viewers who liked it, that's success, bro.

What even did I just watch

I mean besides the acting which was god awful. They couldn't even make little things work like the gas station register. The cop was literally reading his lines from the steering wheel. This was just awful. Please dont trust the good reviews and dont waste your time. Unless you like watching really crappy movies then that's on you.

Why, why, why?

1. Why was this movie written? 2. Why was this movie produced? 3. Why was this movie released? OMG - no story, no real acting and and no reason to waste 10 minutes on this movie!

What the hell is this?
joeyg-149-9944428 April 2019
This is by far the worst script and the worst acting I have ever seen! Why the hell would Omar Gooding sign on for this? I know he's not as good of an actor as his brother but come on! The mother is the worst! It would be laughable if it wasn't so cringeworthy! Omg, why am still watching this?

Is it trust or Brilliant acting?

Warning: Spoilers
This film had a very determined way of displaying a disturbing story, however, that's just why it was made! A great and brilliant cast of actors and great writing can go a long way. One of the greatest points of this film was Joey Bell's performance as Ethan. Ethan is a unique blend of innocence and insecurity in which Joey studied and his education in psychology added a great amount of depth to the role of Ethan. Joey was the perfect touch to this movie's cast, having a broad mindset to various roles throughout his career. Each of these characters were all entirely different from the each other. This is a must watch for it's "No Strings Attached" style of horror. It's hard to trust these characters knowing no one is safe!

Under budgeted but funny 😄

Love it. It had very interesting and corny parts but keeps you watching because of the lack in acting and realism 😆 love the acting ladies.

Fun Bloodbath!!!
davidhershwitzky13 August 2016
Okay, so this isn't an Academy Award winning film but it never intends to be. What it is however, is a fun and entertaining splatter popcorn flick. The opening was a little rough but once it transitioned into the main story it increasingly got better. The mom and her sons reminded me of the movie "Mother's Day" Their relationship was deliciously devious. The girl who played Audra did a good job but the actress who played Emily was fantastic. Other highlights include Ethan (Joey Bell) who made for a surprising twist at the halfway mark. He was definitely a standout for me and I won't leave spoilers but let's say his character arc was intriguing and "escalated quickly." He really gave a terrific performance as an emotionally scarred and abused teen. He is a terrific actor and has a bright future ahead of him. His character arc was plausible and realistic for what he had been through. You'll be surprised by some of his actions. I won't spoil it for you but let's just say things "escalated quickly" I'll just leave it there. You have to watch to see what I'm talking about ;-)

Overall a fun and entertaining bloodbath homage to the backwoods horror stories of yesteryear. If you're a fan of these kind of movies you will love this one! Check it out!
