Provocative yes, informative no Warning: Spoilers
This documentary is basically what you can expect when a black woman dives into the issue of Neonazism and Aryans. She goes to demonstrations of far-white voters and tries to ask them questions. Big surprise: Nobody is responding. This is a 90-minute documentary movie written by, directed by and starring Mo Asumang and it is basically a poor (wo)man's version of a Michael Moore documentary. Asumang tries to provoke her interview partners as much as possible, but this movie has neither any journalistic value nor does it tell something we did not know already before. Nazis are evil and we know that without watching this film. Also Asumang is the narrator here and I don't think she does a pretty good job as that either. Somehow her voice is not great fun to listen to. Apart from that, I am pretty sure most (if not all) of this one-and-a-half-hour was scripted down to the last sentence when she interview non-Nazis and it did not help the matter either. The worst part is when one interviewee puts Nazis in a position that they are only like that because they did not get to date any girls at school, which is really off the mark in my opinion. All in all, I hoped for more. The only somewhat interesting reference is when they elaborate on what Aryans really are. But despite the title, that is just a small portion of the film. Not recommended.
