This 2013 series explores the consequences of an affair an the ripple effects on the 2 couples and the extended family namely parents siblings and children. It is not melodramatic like World Of the Married. It tries to be realistic to the point it is often boring and repetitive. Lots of flashbacks could have been done away with. Lots of rehashing and back and forth. The more moving part is the innocent love of the youngsters that is affected by the affair. The older ones seem selfish and self obsessed until it affects the younger ones. The writing and the tone are monotonous. More humor would have helped. The crazy mother in law is more annoying than funny. The writer didn't balance the different elements of the show well.

Park Seo Joon fans would want to check out this early role of his and see if he shows star quality. The lead actress Han Hye Jin doesn't act that expressively just 2 expressions. Don't know what two men saw in her. The wronged wife played by Kim Ji Soo had a sour expression for a lot of the show and it made her unsympathetic.

The men were better. Lee sang woo as someone who cheated and then gets cheated on is okay but his character is not very developed. Jee Jin Hee as the cheating husband at least develops from unrepentant to apologetic. The writer should have made more endearing characters. Han Groo as the young love is one of the few likable characters.

Ultimately forgiveness is the lesson here but the time it comes round the viewer is already exhausted. This 20 episode series should have been just 16 or less.

Love ft Marriage and divorce is a much more entertaining series dealing with infidelity.
