Pablo (Goya Robles) and the pale Junior (Nick Rey Angelus) are brothers in LA. They are part of a gang and owe money. Both attend school and are trying to be helped up by their Shakespeare teacher Ms. Wyse (Jolane Lentz). In addition to her help, Junior seeks the help of Father Mendoza (Mauricio Mendoza). Pablo has hots for teacher.
Almost half of the film takes place in the classroom reading "Taming of the Shrew." Father Mendoza had an unlikeable arrogant Roy Liotta impersonator character. I couldn't see why any of the teens would hang out with him, which may be why he only had 4-5 kids in all of LA. The film was extremely uneven. The acting was bad, or at least the translators. Bible verses are translated direct from Spanish and are not exactly how one remembers them.
Parental Guide: F-bomb. Sex. Brief Nudity (Jolane Lentz)
