I think the tagline for this film says it all. Unlike many movies or shows about geeks and geek culture, the characters of this stage play turned film are not caricatures of a stereotype, but rather multifaceted characters where the audience can fell more sympathy and empathy for the cast, for we are all them.

Love this movie, and the play it's based on. It has the best, most honest portrayal of tabletop gaming that I've ever seen. If you're sensitive to swearing, this might not be the best movie for you, but it fits the character incredibly well. Anyone who has done tabletop gaming has known someone who fits each of these characters very well. I love it, and highly recommend watching!
