for story and for cultural references. for humor and for the short Russian history lesson. and, sure, for animation. story of a well-known Orthodox saint, it has the charm who mix the innocence and the joy , the spirit of childhood and the spirituality in a seductive form, in wise manner. a film for entire family about a delicate subject in Christianity - the Fool for Christ . more important than the subject is the science to present it. and, in this case, the great Russian animation school does not only a good job but a splendid one because with small pieces creates a magnificent puzzle. not impressive colors, not new technology, far by Disney industry. but a short animation who really could be a gem. so, see it. and the result could be more than nice entertainment.

A profound useful film about Orthodox sainthood, with splendid drawings, with fair story, with delicate touches and wise moral. A film about be Christian an free in all senses in your faith. So, just a gem or an absolutely inspired work.
