Boring
kaurtaran-6103413 May 2024
The movie starts good but later on becomes really really boring and pointless. You will find shinda's character really toxic. The message was given out in a really incorrect manner. Seems like a kids movie. Kids useless protests. I really felt like leaving the movie every now and then but was just watching because I had paid for it. Hina's choice was also wrong. Her voice is dubbed. Do not waste your money. Please do not. You will regret while watching it in Cinema. You will not be agreeing with the way the message is portrayed. Movie becomes unbearable after interval. Boring boring boring........

Basically another watered down Carry on Jatta

Nothing new here. It is the same film that we have been seeing from Naresh and Gippy for the past decade. The same running around unnecessarily, a lack of proper direction, and a plot that is completely predictable within the first 15 minutes of the film. This may just be the worst one yet. Right from the poor character introductions the performances and story is lacking, and it sadly doesn't pick up. From the story to the acting to the music it feels like a rushed product that completely lacks any semblance of direction. The only direction it seems to have is trying to push Shinda Grewal into the limelight, and sadly they failed to showcase much success there. Besides a few moments the child star displayed a very low floor and ceiling for his acting chops. Gippy was of no help and it felt as if he was switching between completely giving up on acting or completely overacting, something that has been evident in his last few films. The saving grace of this film was the performance by Hina Khan, but her character wasn't much more than a glamour role to begin with. I would recommend that people skip this film.

Well Balanced film & a must watch film
stendoll13 May 2024
This film is very entertaining & actors performances were too good particularly Hina Khan who is marking a debut in Punjab film industry. Her performance is spectacular. I haven't seen her like that in any of her films. Looks like director brought out the best out of her. Overall it's awell balanced film with Gippy as good as usual and others also gave good performances. Film's story, direction, music, comedy are very good & fresh. You will laugh out loud & end up crying also. Father son due is too good & Hina adds x factor for the film. She looked like Madhuri & I think she will be Madhuri of Pollywood. This is perfect team work overall. Must a watch film and you will go for second time watch.

Completely useless movie
gurkiratsingh-9848311 May 2024
Total useless story of the movie, it is totally time waste, personal suggestion don't waste money and your time. Movie is totally a challenge to our punjabi culture. Character of gippy's son is not acceptable in our culture. I think this movie is against our culture and ethics. It might spoil our future generation, i won't suggest anyone to go and watch with you childrens. Only 1 character jelly is working good in the movie. Gippy's son is showing wrong use of internet which is not acceptable. Punjabi movie generally don't have story line but this movie is just a shame on punjabi movie story .

It's important to disregard negative comments that misinterpret the movie's message. "In 'Shinda Shinda no Papa,' we see a heartfelt story about parenting that touches on the importance of love and patience instead of punishment. It gently encourages audiences to rethink traditional approaches to discipline, showing the power of understanding and gentle guidance. With authentic performances and relatable characters, the movie captures the essence of family dynamics and the universal desire for nurturing relationships. It's a reminder that parenting is about love and communication, not control."

Pure cringe and over acting
regalhauling16 May 2024
It is sad to see that Punjabi cinema is churning same over the top comedy movies over and over . Loud , obnoxious, repeated actors and characters. It needs to change . Gippy is not an actor nor should he try . Give other people a chance . Take a back seat and produce . Stop this monopoly and forcing you and your loved ones on us .There was time when movies like Chan pardesi , long da lishkara were made and actors like Raj Babbar , om puri ,Amrish puri dazzled the Punjabi silver screen . Now it's come down to what's app jokes , cringe acting , obviously loud characters , same whimsical music in the background. It's high time we start re investig in to stories and actors and make Punjabi moviegoers proud .

Laughed, must watch, kudos to the acting of the two kids. It's been a long time since we've seen such a Punjabi movie that brings genuine laughter while imparting a meaningful lesson. This film is a delightful experience for all generations to enjoy. The storyline is heartwarming, the humor is spot-on, and the performances, especially by the young actors, are exceptional. It's a rare gem that combines entertainment with a message, making it a perfect family movie. The direction and cinematography are top-notch, capturing the essence of Punjab beautifully. Highly recommend!

Well made, to and enjoy.

Fantastic!!
sainisandeep-3166726 May 2024
My kids and I loved it! Nice movie with a great message! This topic was much needed to be touched upon and was the need of the hour! Brilliant performance by Grewal Jr & the child who played "Jelly". Kudos to the director & congratulations to the entire team of Shinda Shinda No Papa!!!

The theme is serious but is initially presented in a comic way so as not to come across as too preachy! The story takes emotional turn close to the climax and touches the chord of 3 generations alike. The end turns out to be very beautiful and a bit of tear jerker! You leave the hall with a great feeling!!

Must watch for all kids, parent n grandparents!!
