In this episode we finally get some depth into what happened w/ Carly & Spencer's mom, they have an emotional talk about it and it really had me speechless. It hit very close to home, I already liked the show as it is a good adult spin on the original but this episode is really the one that made me take it seriously, it showed that it's not just a silly comedy. It's much more. I personally can't wait where the story leads to next. I hope season 4 will go even more in depth into what happened with their mom as i am very eager to see it. The only note i'd personally have is that I'm not a big fan of them making Carly & Freddie a thing but that really depends on who u shipped back in the day with the original I think.

As far as finales go, this was a ripper! Finding out about Carly and Spencer's mum and then having her pop up at the cert end (despite not seeing her) blows 15 years of the shoe right out of the water. It was an emotional episode, super well written and just a tiny bit of hilarity to not take you out of the mood too much. Will Freddie and Carly tie the knot right there and then? Did the appearance of Carly's mum ruin what they had both just planned spur of the moment?
I am DYING to see what happens after this episode and it's hilarious that Freddie's mum and Lewbert ended up eloping despite how perfect the venue was made for them.

They went to the well of obvious TV and cliches with a wedding for the season finale and a tease of a big reveal at the end.
There are so many options they could go for Carly's mom if we do get a season four, which thanks to this episode we all now want, but we have to get there first.
It was kind of funny, it was kind of entertaining, but Freddie's mom running off to Vegas with no tease of this did not make sense.
Freddie and Carly getting married would add a unique element to the show for a fourth season, but rushing that into an episode like this would have been a mistake, so I am glad they avoided that at least.
Solid episode overall though.
