You will think about this meaningful film for quite awhile

Brian Whisenant's amazing first short film will fill you with thoughts and emotions that will stay with you for a lifetime. You will turn this film over and over again in your head to arrive at your own conclusions, only to find yourself rethinking its meaning time and time again.

The acting, music, scenery and directing are outstanding. You will be overcome with emotion coming to grips with what the story means to you. The ending will leave you contemplating what you have just experienced via the main character's expressions of angst, wonder and hope. A must-see for anyone in recovery or active addiction, quite possibly life-saving.

Wish this wasn't a short. Make a feature.

Wrath mercy was a short I saw in the Oxford Film festival. It was pretty amazing. It depicts a compelling struggle of a gay drug addicted character. The acting from the whole cast is very compelling. They are all able to bounce each other in very unique ways that might be hard to find in genres of this film. The cinematography was able to accent and push the story forward in very unique ways. It was the relationship between the world and camera that sold the film for me. You're able to see these houses where the main character sold all his furniture and it makes you come to conclusion on what exactly is happening. It demands you to stay within the story. The sound in the film was very good and helped allow immersive experience that was unique and couldn't have been in anything else.

Intense and powerful message

The actor who plays Adam is really good at playing the role, it can be a bit confusing about what is going on but Iove when Irina enters the screen. The legendary Natanya is back. She hasn't acted in a long time. You might know her from the secret world of Alex Mack and the babysitter's club. This is her best role yet. Adam and Irina are great together. The director Brian is very talented. I didn't realize how much work goes into a short. The camera shots, the different angles. Everything was perfect and I typically don't watch shorts. I love ho the beginning draws you in and by the end you are still in awe.

Wrath Mercy is a multilayered short film that will take you on a journey of hope, despair and redemption ! The great thing about this film is, it doesn't just speak to one condition of the human spirit. The way this labor of love was written, will reach people in and out of recovery. A lot of the characters are people we have known .it may also mirror, some of what we are. In a world of noise , anger and divisionThis film will draw you in and leave you walking away with much to share .Supporting actors and writers is close to my heart and Brian W who wrote and directed Wrath Mercy left me wanting more of his cinematic story telling.

Phenomenal!!!

This has been one of many shorts that I've seen, but not as Phenomenal as this. It had me on the edge of my seat, The actors were Amazing. The storyline is exciting. You will be mesmerized by the whole movie. Every scene is filled with intense acting I have Many favorite scenes Everyone needs to see this magical short so if you're thinking about it, I think you should. Adam and Irina are such wonderful actors and the others do a wonderful job as well. Can't wait to see what Brian has coming. This short was so amazing so I definitely can't wait to see what Brian brings to the screen. It's also going to be phenomenal. I know.
