Most original episode in a long time.

Loved the cold open, loved the overly frantic cutaways, loved the references.

This was a fast moving episode but it really felt like family guy craziness that I haven't seen in a while. The plot is simple, but the way the story is told breaks into so many fragments of hilarity that the laughs genuinely caught me off guard.

I like that the main plot wasn't based entirely on the main family as well, and not in the way that seemed like they were just trying to make one specific joke land at the end of the show in the forced way that's been done before.

This season so far has been great, and I think this is one show that still pulls its weight, but this episode really stuck out for me as feeling very uniquely "family guy".

This has been the funniest Family Guy episode in recent memory

Not a lot of Family Guy episodes can make you laugh and especially during the modern Seasons but this one really came through with the jokes and the plot was wholesome even with a wholesome ending that kind of left you with that Classic Family Guy feel that you would get watching season 1 - 4 I laughed multiple times at the jokes really enjoyable episode. And I must say I wasn't expecting to laugh at a Will Smith joke in 2023 but I'm here laughing like there's no tomorrow and also one thing I might add everybody in this episode wasn't terrible people yeah they have their traits but it wasn't bad to the point where you wanted the root against them and yes did Lois made a mistake throughout jealousy? Yes but she apologized that felt really sincere for once.

Warning: Spoilers
A lot of good gags in this win. Brian and his book, being tricked by the wolf that didn't read it and the gorillas that did, the Native American Express gift card. But then in true Family Guy fashion they seem to be way too late to public events and also force their new woke views on others with the Will Smith/Chris Rock spat and then the shot at prayers before a meal in the beginning.

But overall it was not too bad. Carter is always a great character and it had been quite some time since they gave us an episode with him at the forefront. Hopefully that becomes a more often trend, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

Awesome episode

I really liked this episode centering Carter. He's one of the more controversial and divisive characters on the show who I enjoy watching. The entire plot about him getting some character development in this episode learning about fatherhood really showed some of his good traits in a positive light. Carter who failed to be good father to Lois, tries his best to bond with a young girl which he adopted causes Lois's jealousy in classic Family Guy fashion made the whole episode hilarious and the bits in the episode were also funny. 9.9/10. This episode is up there with some the episodes that featured this season.
