*** Malayalee From India Malayalam Movie Review ***

Directed by Dijo Jose Anthony starring Nivin Pauly, Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role.

Plot of the Movie.

Nivin Pauly plays the character name Alaparambil Gopi, an irresponsible man who is always a nuisance to his family. A night when an unforeseen incident Gopi needs to fleed away from his place & shifts to Dubai but his life changes. How & what is that impact in Gopi's life is all about the movie.

Movie Analysis.

1) Nivin Pauly factor is the main highlight of the movie. His natural comic performance makes the movie watchable.

2) Dhyan Sreenivasan also adds a cherry to the movie. Expected a full-time screen presence with Nivin which did not happen and made me disappointed.

3) Overall, the movie talks of the brotherhood between Hindu & Muslim which in today's time more than an awareness it has become a reminder which does not needs to be reminded.

4) In second half the duration could have been trimmed as at one point it was like a kind of detachment but again as mentioned Nivin's screen presence brought us back.

5) In second half, the artist portraying the rule of a Pakistani had beautifully performed.

6) Able to witness the a Bhajarangi Bhaijaan & GOAT LIFE comic version in this.

Overall, a repeated told topic but with Nivin Pauly we could able to sustain at the big screen for 2.40 Hours.

Most of the scenes felt like I've seen it before in some other movie... Like it was a compilation of many scripts, old and new. Even including the rat scenes was typical. Adding metaphor is great essence in movies but things that have already been used several times in several movies is just bore. People have access to world movies these days and at such times if you don't have original idea you better don't make the film. Nivin Pauly is becoming fat... Soon many things will start looking odd on him. Professional actors go out of their way to look perfect on the role and we have people who find it hard to maintain their shape in real life.

I was reading all the reviews that were posted for this film. Honestly I have never posted reviews for movies but for food and stays only but I couldn't help myself by not putting a review.

I had switched off the tv straightaway after 15 minutes. Lack of creative script writing is evident, most of the scenes in the movie resembles bits and pieces of multiple movies we had seen during our earlier childhood.

Malayalam film industry is evolving in a rapid pace in both direction , script, cast and reach around the globe . In midst of this evolution with movies like manjunmel boys, aadu jeevitham and avesham etc Malayali from India's quality and making should improve a lot. Trust me Malayali audience have really good taste much ahead than this film maker could imagine. The make should understand the audience and make films

Nivin Pauly has made an amazing come back! Almost like Premalu, awesome comedy movie! Must watch for Malayalam audience! Dhyan's role literally rocked along with Nivins role. Overall a really good movie and one of the best feel good movies of all time. Every scene had some or the other comedy element and also amazing social message! It is something that not just malayali audience must watch but also pan India audience! It was a brilliant cinematic experience and I urge audience to not miss out on this one! This movie is worth every penny that you pay for your movie ticket and should go watch with friends and family!

"Malayalee from India" is a disappointingly clichéd film that not only fails to offer any fresh perspective but also stoops to biased storytelling against a specific political party.

The plot unfolds predictably, with recycled incidents and characters that lack depth or originality.

It's evident that the agenda of the movie overshadows any genuine storytelling, leaving little room for nuance or genuine exploration of themes. Moreover, the allegations of the story being copied further tarnish its credibility.

Overall, "Malayalee from India" is a forgettable film that adds little value to the cinematic landscape and falls short of entertaining or enlightening its audience.

First of all I wanna say that NIVIN IS BACK.

After a lot of setbacks he tried to bring one of finest movie in Malayalam. First half was about to laugh & entertainment, second half was more like matured & emotional. Overall the direction was superb so the movie is. We should praise some of the actors too like Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anaswara Rajan, Salim Kumar, Manju Pillai and some unknown actors or freshers to this industry were top notch and some surprise entry from actors was interesting and entertaining. The highlight of the movie was friendship, family, jobless of a normal youngster in kerala, the Director portrayed the best out of it.

In conclusion NIVIN's acting skills are so feel good & so the movie is...

Unwanted political cliched first half and second half emotional track that didn't work. Climax was height of tragedy.

Songs didn't work, background music was average. Dhyan srinivasan character was wasted. Anaswara character was not needed in first place.

Don't expect a comedy track by watching initial trailers. Wasted my money by booking the cinema first day first show.

Nivin pauly was good at some places but overall character of him in this movie has been wasted.

Since I don't want share stories or moments/scenes and make it a spoiler, else I can list out atleast 10 negative points in this movie.

The film is a worthwhile watch. On a scale from zero to 10, I give this film a 9.

I felt little bit lag. Otherwise emotional elements are good. Background music really nice.

Religion and Politics are the core discussion matter in this movie also Illustrated importance of Education for girls.

Deepak Jethi played his role nicely.

This time Nivin Pauly didn't disappointed the audience.

Movie delivers common advise to the people that how politics becomes dangerous while it connected with religion.

Songs are nice. Climax also feels very nice.

Nice making. Visuals also good.

Although It's my personal opinion.

The first half of the movie is filled with combination scenes between Dhyan and Nivin, along with a lot of unnecessary political content that left me frustrated. I don't get what Anaswara Rajan's role significance the movie. When it comes to the second half, the movie deal with the a malayali outside india. Try to include a lot of emotional connect between an indian and pakistani. A sentimental drama they have tried to portray in the second half eventually made the audience numb with their feelings. It's surprising that the same writer and director of "Jana-Gana-Mana" created this movie. Personally, I found myself eagerly awaiting the interval during the first half and wishing for the movie to end during the interval. I wouldn't recommend watching this in theaters, but ultimately, the choice is yours.

The first half was laborious! Everything is a cliche situation, rolling in one after another. There is no twist to be expected. The story basically flows like many before, and once you understand the direction, you know what to expect.

There is an attempt to establish the timeline, to take advantage of the "lockdown"! Even that seemed very contrived. Also the "aadujevitham", where they trying to make this a pun??

Finally Malala !! Oh my god, they trans navigated the globe and had nothing to say, or rather didn't say it in an interesting way.

Very few performances stand out. There was nothing in the script to do. Sad. I wasted 3hrs of my time.

First of all I saw some others fan based people making degrading of these movie in social media. To be very frank this movie is worth to watch , its all based of malayalees. This is a political and entertainment movie, first half was an entertainment , second was especially the last scene was really touchwood to us well emotionally connected. Nivin pauly was nailed it and manju pilla was superbly performed it, dhyan was good, and the sahib perfectly good. Heart touching movie. Happy to see this guy back to his powerful action. He ruled it, the king always be a king. No one can replace him. Director was perfectly delivered this movie to audience.

Malayali from India became India vs Pakistan in a short while. It seemed to tell us so many stories and tranfer so many morals but ends up making the audience so much confused about where they were getting with all this. Be it political riots (Shine Tom Chacko brought some excitement), the reach of cricket, slavery in Arab countries, desert farming, educating girls, IS, COVID in remote areas. Not one theme could milk substantial emotions although each one has potential when explored properly, with depth and dedication.

Nivin Pauly acting in some areas were good and the bromance between him and Dhyan brought about few but fleeting moments of laughter. However, the audience couldn't escape from the lag. After some exceptional movies from mollywood in the past few months, this one certainly falls flat, in all areas. None of the songs nor the visuals seemed to have lasting, especially in contrast to aadujeevitham which had a similar setting, although it is an unfair comparison. In some areas, the background score, especially chenda melam use seemed to hit the right chords. Otherwise the movie had very less going for itself.

This movie is actually a good movie,I won't say it's great but it's premises the way it discusses politics, Strong dialogues and also the degradation shows how the msg has actually got through these specific people... The movie is mostly centralised on the character by Nivin known as Aalparambil Gopi... And he does deliver a stellar performance as the character and uplifts the movie.. Dhyan sreenivasan was also good but he was not having that much of a role along with anaswara... Overall the movie discusses the poltics related to religion and the indo-pak problems in a satirical way... I won't say it's the perfect movie out there...There are flaws in screenplay and script...But it as a whole is a very good movie and doesn't deserve the degradation that it has been receiving... Also the Pakistani guy was really good and his daughter too.. They all performed well.. It is a nice movie to spend time in theatres and it won't disappoint you if you are a neutral movie viewer... I would give it a 8/10.. Also don't expect something like Jana gana Mana cuz the way that things are handled are in a different manner... The music by Jakes Bejoy was also nice especially the background musics which uplifted various scenes..

I don't know what they were trying to do with the movie. Other people in the industry are trying new concepts and styles and it felt like the writer and director are still stuck in the 6th century AD. Me as a viewer, is not interested in this topic anymore. Nivin was good. And that song felt like one of those fake photoshoots which pops up during Christmas and Onam(papanji+sanyasi+ustad). The two halves of the movie felt disconnected. My request to the writer is to try something new. Not all movies have to be about politics, people get frustrated by watching this over and over again. And I went in without watching the trailer, all the other promo videos were very misleading.

Watched this movie and really liked it a lot, it is indeed a come back movie of Nivin Pauly, can't think anyone else who could have done this key role with such ease and perfection.

It's a movie filled with fun, comedy, serious religious politics, fights, sentiments, family, friendship etc.. It's an allround entertainer and a must watch in theatre.

Would have given the actual rating of 8 out of 10 as I felt but forced myself to give 10 seeing all the collective degradation by the so called radical religious fanatics from the day 1 where the movie had around 5 IMBD rating. The movie is indeed again a reminder not to mix politics and religion together which is whats happening all around. To all the negative reviews and low ratings literally shows that they are unable to face the reality they are seeing on the screen thinking nobody understands how they are playing us.

It's a below average movie. The jokes are far below standard. The story is weak and some scenes will make the audience think of the overall purpose the movie is built for. The bonding between characters is also questionable. First half is irritating and second half is boring.

A movie like this which is made for just fans should at least have some element of likeability of the characters. The cast done by Dhyan Sreenivasan is the biggest example (of failure) of casting done in this film. There are many songs which does not have much music element in them, just they have some keywords which supports the situation.

I think Nivin should try something different. Premam was hit bit u can not be flexible in such role thise do not suit u any more. Try some senior roles like elder brother , villan etc. Heard some one was telling it is Nivin return . Yes return from Hero role. Dijo Jose , Nivin Pauly and Listin Stephan from these names you ofcourse expect some kind of anto political dialogues and punch. You can easily guess their intention from their names only..Pls stop these carcasam and concentrate on the content of movie which everyone like..Better luck next time and Nivin pls try some thing different you are about field out from movie.

Amazing movie ,Acting, Story plot .Comedy worked well and surely I can say this is nivin Pauly comeback movie of this year. We need to support this film as we supported manjummel boys , Aavesham and aadujevatham. Then only malayalam cinema will go up surely tamil audience will love this film Nivin acting and comedy is adipoli I'm sure his upcoming movies will have a huge responses from audience. The film explains about the friendship doesn't required caste religion and languages only love I'd enough to understand eachother the concept of the story is good and climax is heart touching. Nivin performed well.

Malayalee from india is an average movie. But it themes and the way it critcis the politice and Religion is different. Some dialogues are beautiful especially salimkumar and shine tom and their charectrrs are excellent. Some situation they make it so serious and at last it became so comedy, especially nivin did it well. So movie shows different places Kerala and Gulf. First part is full in Kerala and talk about politice and religion. Second half movie concentrate on two characters that are nivin and punjabi actor, it speaks about their relation and attachment, Nivin's character changes entirely and becoming new person...

I've really enjoyed watching this movie from comedy to heart touching moments and the topic it was portraying has been a sensitive subject and it has convey very nicely. After all we all are human beings!
