It can be very hard at times to stomach the show's insistence on portraying Brax as the hero, as he casually tortures Jamie just for something to do.His taking the moral high ground with Adam at the end, when Adam hasn't done anything he wouldn't do himself and Jamie hasn't done anything that the guy standing next to him hasn't done, falls flat as a result, as does his "Tell the nasty man to go away" solution. At least Heath's back onboard by the end and, despite one ill-thought-out sequence of him rasping threats, Kyle's rehabilitation continues.
The material with Sid and Sasha is okay:It underlines the disappointment of Sasha and Casey's romance being thrown away, although there's a subtle use of Sid's own disappointment with Lisa.Meanwhile, the Casey in prison stuff is pretty standard, with the dull cliché of the prison bully, and Natalie's man on the inside fails to make an impressive debut either.
