I have watched several episodes of "Psycho Kitty" and personally I think she needs more experience and training. I don't think she tells her clients the purpose of the play toys and some (clients) need more help in how to interact with play replacing the hunter instinct. I have watched the other cat behaviorist on cable and see a world of difference between the two, both in training and results. Also, she doesn't put enough emphasis on getting cats that need to own a space, getting them up and above the action, that helps them stop hiding and cowering.

Warning: Spoilers
I've never heard of this person before but watched many episodes of My cat from Hell with Jackson Galaxy. Maybe the show just does a horrible job vetting people out. The 2 episodes I watched I would have rehomed the cats.
I don't know how they think a cats behavior is going change in a week.
These poor cats, yeah I would be hissing and biting too with that kind of treatment.
Oh and the follow up is awful! Does that Chris guy even know how to pet a cat? I don't if it's supposed to be comic relief to have him go immediately to the "psycho kitty" and try to pet it?
They must have blown the show budget on this cat expert.
