What I was hoping for when I decided to watch this movie was something in the style of "Disturbia", of course with a lower budget but the plot sounded kind of similar.
Now that I've seen it I'm a bit uncertain what to make of it. "Bodies" is surely not the worst movie, it has a coherent plot and is not really predictable plus it makes you feel uneasy at times but that sadly more in terms of social situations than of thrilling horror.
To be honest, the only mostly normal character to me seemed to be Molly, everyone else was just behaving in ways that make you wonder. A "normal guy" that instantly starts to stalk his neighbor to a point where he randomly vandalizes a house in the woods while at the same time ignoring his girlfriend to have a crush on his neighbor, a police officer that shoots someone out of the blue, a guy that more or less randomly kills people, all of that doesn't seem to add up. Unfortunately I wasn't so pleased with the acting at times neither.
Still I can understand that people could be entertained by this movie and consider it better than I did. Personally I just think that there are other films within this genre that seem to make a bit more sense and make it easier to identify with their characters.
