The episode opens with Voight in court testifying against the drug kingpin Arturo Morales - and if there is anyone who looks less comfortable than Sergeant Voight in a suit and tie, I'm not sure who it is.
Anyway, following his testimony in court, Voight notices one of the jurors acting suspiciously and follows his gut. Sure enough, the man's wife has been kidnapped: the tried and true "vote not guilty and your wife lives" trick.
Not going to work with Voight and co on the case.
A solid episode that is notable for being the directorial debut of Jesse Lee Soffer, who played Jay Halstead memorably for nine seasons. I thought he did a good job!
