mayitowebass20 November 2012
A story developed in the biggest city of the world, D.F. México City, a place with about 10 million people and a strong feeling of loneliness about their population. Andrea (Magali Boysselle), work on a firm advertisement by the creative department, having a tense and stressing lifestyle, let by a side her personal life, family, friends, everything for be always the best and the number one getting important customer accounts, however, an unexpected eventuality turn Andrea to meet Gualberto (Noé Hernández) who, little by little reminds her the really important things in life. Arrogance sometimes could make human beings living a way different to the original plan, the anger one, but always could find redemption.

In the belly of the sky.

Warning: Spoilers
This is a nice quiet love story set on the roof of a tall office building in Mexico City. It is somewhat contrived and a bit long in the middle but not the expected trite film. An upcoming ad executive Andrea is suddenly thrust with a presentation for early Monday. She somehow gets herself stuck on the roof of the building with her janitor Gualberto and ends up spending the weekend. It starts poorly with each blaming the other for their predicament but, since it is a film, later bond and work on the presentation together. The refreshing thing about this film is that despite being forced together for the weekend the film avoids the obligatory sex scene. But there is the required sweet ending. The title of the film is the slogan she devises for her ad motivated by her two days in the sky.
