Designing Healthy Communities what the Doctor ordered

I loved this PBS mini series because it told in matter of fact ways how the places we live are killing us and how simple it is to correct these mistakes and not only improve our health but the quality of our lives. The series centers around examples around our nation, pro and con that portray in very human terms the problems and what people and communities are doing to combat these problems now and in the past.

I particularly liked the last episode "Searching for Shangri-La" which I found the most lyrical with interesting people and stories I'd never heard of before. But all the episodes were very good, each being very different, with host Dr. Jackson as the glue that holds the series together. Bravo PBS for running such a series.
