This one was pretty decent. Yes the voice of the girl is a bit high but I mean... it's anime.
Yes the story could have been longer with more details but what they do give us very much comes across as Lovecraftian. I mean the guy finds the truth and it drives him crazy. He leaves a notebook for his friend to find telling him about it etc...
People talk about plot holes, mostly regarding the time loop but it isn't that much of a stretch. There is no reason to believe people can't come and go to some degree. If you left a year long loop for 4 hours would you really notice? Maybe if you left for 10 years you would notice the little girl didn't grow up but not just because you went to the grocery store.
My only real complaint is they didn't tell us what significance "mommy" had. What is it even? Why is it? How is it related to this at all? No clue.
