Kate just about manages to hold onto viewer sympathy here, even though many of her decisions are extremely questionable.Lou doesn't manage to hold onto any sympathy, the scene of him dismissively telling Kate to cover for him is quite painful to watch.Kate and Sheila's scenes together are fairly enjoyable but it's hard to watch Kate lying to her.
Two band story lines seem to come to a head.Karl frankly seems to be trying to turn his band into a solo act but Ajay does seem to dismiss his "new songs" without listening to them.It's all too much for Adrian though, as he walks out of the band and seemingly the show.Meanwhile, Andrew tackles Griffin on learning he's cheating on Summer:His intentions are good but he goes about it all the wrong way.By the end of the episode, he's ended his association with Red Cotton without really doing anything to affect him and Summer.
