Funny spoof on Girl With... Films
bperdue-16 September 2022
I thought it was a pretty funny spoof on the Stieg Larsson films. Emma plays a pretty hilarious tramp stamp girl. If you've seen the English version of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, you'll understand all the jokes. It's a spoof on that movie, not on the Swedish versions that preceded it.

It's a short 2 minute joke you can find on YouTube and it passes for a good laugh from Funny or Die productions. Give it a watch and I suspect you'll enjoy it and get a few laughs in. If not, you only invested 2 minutes of your life. No loss.

Warning: Spoilers
Back in 2011, everybody was talking about the Millennium trilogy and David Fincher was filming his version of the original Swedish film. Here, we see funnyordie's take on the whole matter, in a less-than 3-minute short film starring Emma Roberts. Her character Lisbeth is the investigators' secret weapon when nothing else helps anymore. Of course, to make her character more believable, she needs to have a whole bunch of flaws. She's promiscuous, constantly drunk and when she isn't, she's hungover. Also, her unique approach to evidence, i.e. the clumsy kind, is what sets her apart from the rest. And last, but not least, she has her very own trademark: a giant tramp stamp tattoo above her butt.

As badass as Roberts may appear in this short film, after recent stories we know that it's got nothing on her on real life. I wouldn't recommend it, not even for fans of Fincher's film. Funnyordie has done better many times.
