A "must see" movie for everyone interested in European politics!

This movie makes you understand the 2014 vote which had been forbidden by the Spanish government. Catalunya and the Catalan language had been repressed since the succession war in 1714. During the Franco dictatorship even the use of the Catalan language was forbidden. Things have changed but the Guardia Civil still exists and not only the name is the same as in former times. For the viewer who is not Spanish or Catalan this true story of a 14 year old boy defending the use of his language is really incredible. The movie should be watched especially by young people all over the world to encourage them to fight for democracy and the preserving of their culture. Excellent acting makes the film very enjoyable to watch in spite of the sad story. Everyone who has watched Fènix 11-23 starts understanding that Spain is a union of different states with different cultures and languages.
