A Florida-shot slice of shot-on-video horror, American Paradice is a film that seeks to emulate the slasher films of the 1980s but of course is nowhere near as good as those films. It's the usual story of a bunch of teenagers camping in the woods whose trip goes awry when they're tackled by a sadistic killer. This cheaply-shot affair is padded out with nudity and lame acting, and the effects are so poor that somebody bending their finger at the knuckle counts as a cut-off finger gore scene.
