At a mere 17 minutes, Angela Liu's tale of a housewife's affair with a teenager girl is ineffectual in portraying what I presume to be a moral dilemma between duty and desire.
The characters are mere caricatures distilled from day-time soap operas and are at no time convincing enough for the viewers to care. Chinese drama focused on infidelity are rife with deceit, hate, envy and remorse.
I am surprised being a Chinese production with an Asian-born writer/director at the helm, this film did not explore any of those themes.
This is a skit best performed in theatres in front of high schoolers.
