These slightly under 6 minutes we got here are the music video for the song "Snow (Hey Oh)" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I find it so difficult to decide if this is my favorite short film from 2006 or if I'd give the edge to Roger Allers' "The Little Matchgirl". What I liked a lot about this one here is definitely the tune, which is not great to listen to when there's indeed snow outside, but during the entire year. So incredibly groovy. But the visual side is just as good as it's very simple, yet very effective. I don't know if it was crew members we saw or just fans, but my theory is the former as we see the band members too individually near the end. Man Kiedis looks so young in here, unreal he was in his mid-40s at that point already. Anyway, add to the shots of crew members some live concert footage with fake snow coming from the sky/ceiling in accordance with the song's title and you have the essence of the entire thing. A prime example how a film can be a really great achievement despite its simplicity. Watching this one makes me really want to see the Peppers live again, hopefully anytime soon. So yes, overall a massive thumbs-up for this one here and I could not recommend checking it out more. Also a great way to start with if you don't really know the band yet as there is a bit of representative style to this one summarizing them fairly well in these under 6 minutes.
