Refreshing and creative- enjoy the ride
ecdropbox1 July 2011
I quickly found myself immersed into the world of the main character without knowing it. All of a sudden I was transformed into an obsessive, video game influenced guy living in his own fantasy world. Through subtle cues and narrative, it's very easy to get swept up in what is a pretty wild ride, and before you know it you're transported to a place that's highly unexpected. It's not often you find such a simple, concise framing resulting in a highly entertaining piece. A cool project that didn't cost much to make but delivers way more then the investment required of you. I wish more films that were this clever, quick and light on their feet came around more often!

Great film!

I watched Tilting at Skyscrapers and loved it! It's a hilarious short film!

It's a clever modern day twist on Don Quixote, played with great humor by Frank Stasio and Jeff Elam.

I thought the writing was very crisp and clear. It's not a movie with any fat to the storytelling and yet the details that make a good movie feel "rich" are there in spades.

There are some nice special effects done on a small budget but done well enough that one wonders why blockbusters can spend millions and still fall short. The difference is in the story and this one has planted the seeds for a series of shorts featuring these two hilarious characters.

A sure sign of viewer buy in is when you're left wanting more; more story and more of the main characters. I really hope there's going to be a part II.
