It is not everyday that one watches a film and wishes he or she had come up with the idea and produced it. The Couple is an example of just that - the acting is spot on - a guilty pleasure to watch as you see the personalities of the husband and wife clash and the essence of their relationship unravel before your eyes in humorous fashion in the context of the movie they made together. The humor can be compared to that of the English movie Death at a Funeral - another one of my favorites. Witty lines with back and forth quips building throughout the film take the audience on a marvelous quirky comedic ride. Juliette Bennett is amazing in this role - as is Ken Forman who is not what he seems and Angela Dee playing it straight. Love it!
