"Some men need sledgehammers at times"
skteosk2 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Some slight development in the adoption storyline, as Sid admits he's only going along with it for Marilyn's sake and Morag recognises that deep down Nicole wants the baby.Sadly, the whole thing doesn't have any effect on Marilyn, who continues to be blind to all the many problems of the situation and encourage Nicole to be blind as well.

Liam and Bianca's storyline is actually quite fun, although it needs some rather odd behaviour from Liam to kick start it.It's nice to see the return of the neurotic Bianca and her increasingly desperate attempts to seduce an oblivious Liam are amusing. It's also nice to see Charlie and Angelo fitting so easily into their "just friends" relationship, although it does leave Angelo with a distinct lack of storyline opportunities.

It's a less than auspicious debut for the River Boys though.Charlie and Angelo keep telling us they're dangerous but their appearances are played mostly for laughs until the ridiculously over the top final scenes.Indeed, we're apparently meant to accept Heath is the bad guy because, um, he talks to Leah. It's an even less auspicious return for a character who's been absent for too long:He doesn't get to speak, he gets knocked unconscious straightaway and he looks so different most viewers probably won't recognise him.
