Another great drama that you can't help but like

id-iology is a good drama which grabs your attention from the offset. Excellent dialogue and a brilliant performance from the actors.

The story works well being humorous and smart and will keep you entertained.

Good cinematography, well worth watching.

If you want a movie that will leave you happy then this is the one for you. One thing though, this isn't for the fainthearted, but in the best possible way.

For the fun I had watching it and a great end result I give id-iology 7/10. Keep up the good work guys.

A very well executed and delivered production that demands attention from the festivals

id-iology is an excellent example of what can be done when the funding is limited but you have a talented writer/director with concrete knowledge of how to shoot a character piece, pared up with excellent performances and a good lashing of sexuality.

Having been fortunate enough to see his previous films, I can honestly say that he is getting stronger and stronger with each production, learning new rules and breaking old ones as he goes.

Going on to the performances, there is only one performance that is marginally questionable - but even then it could very easily be argued that considering the extreme nature of the films themes, language and intensity, the character is still within the realms of believable within the film universe.

For its small warts and technical difficulties, this is a very promising production from a troupe (I guess would be the best description) that is now walking towards the doors of success with their heads held high!

Hard-hitting drama

Id-iology is not for your grandmother or the vicar. It asks difficult questions and doesn't hold back in it's use of language.

If you can hack that then you'll enjoy the film which explores dark and difficult subject matter such as domination, obsession, masochism and more.

The interweaving of these different themes using connected characters is done quite brilliantly.

In summary, it's powerful drama, produced on a budget, by a talented young writer/director who deserves our support as he clearly has a bright future ahead.

A treat for fans of 'in-yer-face' and an experience for lovers of cinema
id-iology is the first film about relationships I have seen that doesn't resort to smushy lovey- dovey resolutions. This is a much more gritty and hard-driven portrayal of our relentless desire to remain young and reckless. And relentless is the word. Some might find it hard to have any empathy at all for some of the characters and what they choose to spend their time doing. But really, it's a very frank account of what burns inside of us at some of our darkest most selfish moments. But it's not all horrific doom and gloom, not by any stretch. Some of the characters are quite likable once you get past their craziness - Emerald the masochist for example. And even the ones you might not like, at least you couldn't possibly say they're boring! All in all I think this is a wonderful and honest film that isn't afraid to put something a little different to its audience. Definitely worth a look.
