Warning: Spoilers
Remember much about this episode. WhY aRe YoU StIlL wAtChInG? Because my wife likes it and there's one TV in the house. Other than that this episode was, once again, slow. Olmos was wasted again (mope and cry). The cartel angle is cool, but then Alvarez said no. That died fast. Another woman (are there really that many in this world who would throw away their life for this?) who blows her cover and her life apart to tell a murderer that she's a cop. Dude goes Nomad (another opportunity to play in a better film/show for the actor?). The writing is pretty weak in this. A lot can happen in 10 episodes, but it doesn't here. I'm sure next week will be a blow out episode to end the season on a cliffhanger, but I'm not really looking forward to this coming back for S5.

Mayan's MC Season 4, Episode 9: A Disappointing Chapter

This latest instalment of Mayan's MC left much to be desired, failing to deliver on both the writing and plot fronts. It's a real letdown, feeling more like a soap opera than the gritty drama fans have come to expect.

The writing in this episode falls flat, lacking the depth and authenticity that made earlier seasons so compelling. Dialogue feels forced and unnatural, with characters delivering lines that seem more suited to a daytime drama than a gritty biker series. This detracts from the overall immersion, making it difficult for viewers to stay invested in the story.

On top of the weak writing, the plot of Episode 9 is a mess. It's riddled with cliches and predictable twists, making for a boring and uneventful viewing experience. Subplots are introduced haphazardly and fail to add any real depth or intrigue to the story. Instead, they serve as distractions from the main plot-line, further diluting the already weak narrative.

One of the biggest disappointments of this episode is its pacing. Scenes drag on for far too long, leaving viewers feeling like they're stuck in a never-ending cycle of melodrama. There's a distinct lack of tension and momentum, making it hard to stay engaged throughout the episode's run-time.

Overall, Mayan's MC Season 4, Episode 9 is a forgettable chapter in the series. With its lacklustre writing, predictable plot, and tedious pacing, it's a real snooze-fest that fails to live up to the standards set by earlier seasons. Here's hoping the next episode can inject some much-needed excitement back into the series.
