This is the most important documentary ever which is about one of the most honourable city in east Turkey ,called Tunceli(Before assimilation, city name of Tunceli was DERSIM).DERSIM people call themselves as Zaza. The truth is, the Zaza is neither Turks nor Kurds. They live in the Eastern part of Turkey, in East-Anatolia, with their own language, history, and culture, but have never been recognized as a separate people group. They are a people with an oral culture, without a written language. Their stories are passed on orally from generation to generation, and because of this, they suffer considerable disadvantages inside the political state of Turkey.Definitely true story.Personally I had many conversation with my grandfather about history. This documentary is such a series first documentary ever. There are millions people still don't know assimilation was part of the Ottoman Empire or when Turkish Republic was born from the disastrous World War I.
