So far, I've watched about half of the 2010 finalist films on The Doorpost Film Project's web site. I have been very impressed with the professional look of these short films by young film makers and "Rack" is no exception. However, unlike the other films I have seen, it looks the most abbreviated--and I really, really wanted to see more. The story, though confusing, really hooked me and I liked its message of the self-worth of the disabled in a sci-fi format...but it also seemed like it needed more. This one really had me wanting more and in its current film I give it a 7--but with a more complete version I could see the score going much higher. It already has wonderful direction and a great cinematic quality about it. Please, please, do more....
