As I said for the previous chapter, the atmosphere grows gloomy and gloomy, for the first time in Skins' history there's no humour softening the plot. It was to be expected that this chapter was about Sophia's mysterious death, and that Naomi would have shown a not very nice side of herself: we see everything from Emily's point of view. Emily is having problems at home, with her mom not liking her relationship with Naomi, her dad facing unemployment, her twin sister Katie more bitchy than ever and now in an affair with a dull postman; besides, she cares too much for Sophia's family, unlike Naomi. I felt a lot of sadness during this episode, or, I say better, I felt the same emotions as Emily: disappointment, confusion, angst. That's why directing and screenplay are very, very good: characters show more sides of themselves and become nearly real people and, technically speaking, the episode doesn't seem made for television as cinematography and soundtrack are topnotch (I really liked "Sweet Disposition" by Temper Tramp in the first scene). For who supported the couple Effy & Freddy, there is a nice surprise. Anyway, I really can't wait for the next episode.

We see Emily walking around topless eating. She stands by the window and the mailman comes and watches her. She gets the mail in a coat and runs to Naomi saying the mailman looked at her breasts. Naomi simply says he does that.

Em goes to her dad's garage where dad is organizing. He wears a Nike hoodie and hugs his daughter.

Emily and Naomi go out for a motorcycle ride. Mom looks disapprovingly at Emily being with Naomi.

At lunch Katie has her new bf over for dinner. Em complains about not being able to invite Naomi. Their little brother says he can't wait to show Naomi his new number. He says boys get curious about girls' clothes once they reach puberty. He says he would have sex with Naomi and mom looks shocked at dad. Dad agrees Naomi is hot. Lol.

Naomi lies to the police. Em and Naomi sneak into the cadets' building and proceed to have sex on some sort of fake bush in the dark.

At a party Thomas calls it the worst one he has been to. Cook stands in front of him not wilding out either. Cook notes Pandora trying to show that other people are attracted to her and she is still worthy. She tries to dance to attract attention. Emily goes to the washroom and Cook comes in to pee in the bathtub. He says he bets she has not seen a penis in a long time. Cook tells Em she has to look happy despite whatever is going on so she does not look stupid. Like him, do what he does - look happy. They hold hands and go out to dance together.

Inside the wooden box is a journal of drawings of the story between Naomi and Sophia. Naomi has cheated on Emily with Sophia.

At home dad tells Emily he cheated on mom once. They were married for two years. He was 19. Her mom was always trying to control her, they are Scottish. He cheated on their mom with mom's sister.
