Definitely a fun premise, and I found this short very entertaining. Until the end. Obviously we're not expecting a huge amount of character development in a 4 minute short, but in order to identify with the characters at all, I needed a little more information about their motivation, apart of course from belting each other. The lead actress showed a little spark, some attitude, but that didn't help build any tension, or anticipation. What might have worked is a gradual escalation. At first they're all friendly, maybe two of them are boyfriend and girlfriend. As the game goes along, an innocent flick of a finger leads a friendly punch, then a not-so-friendly punch, and so on. Or, a twist could be that one of them starts to get off on the violence. As it is it has some nice action, but it left me wishing for a more interesting ending. I thought the production values were very good, especially the visual and sound editing - first rate. The 6/10 rating really speaks to my disappointment that the filmmaker didn't do more to build my interest with this fun premise.
