This is an insightful film and exploration of the thoughts and interactions of several unique characters (teenagers). An unlikely relationship develops between the 2 main characters as they discover the emotional ground, values and thoughts which they have in common. The film effectively uses a variety of scenes and visual techniques to convey the private worlds in which they live and the external world to which they try to adjust.
Some excellent camera work and acting delivers a viewing experience which is convincing as well as charming and surprising.
