I am with the one person as really can't stand Stuart as his arrogance and condescending on others are getting very old. As really do not know the hatred over Tiffany as I find her OK.

But still it is yet again dirty cops that are killing for profit and a guy that tries to take out the cops as he has a grudge against them.

FBI takes over for fears over NYPD attacks and cops in general and want to deescalate the situation before it becomes apparent. But the NYPD is breathing down their necks.

CBS crime dramas have gotten worse over time and I would bet that Dick Wolf isn't happy with the end product even though the advertising revenue is huge. Just like with many episodes of "Criminal Minds," as soon as Wallace and Scola split up at the female cop's home, I knew something bad would happen. No backup = bad outcome. It doesn't help that Wallace tends to the female cop's wounds and calls for additional help BEFORE clearing the first floor and - no surprise - is taken hostage. The suspect, the teenaged son of a detective who had been convicted of stealing money from a crime scene and was later killed in prison. His son targets the three officers that testified against his father. One is dead and the two others are wounded. The man's widow believes he was forced to take $10,000 by the cops who actually stole the money. Just another episode where the FBI butts heads with the NYPD - and Wallace - who began her career with the NYPD has split loyalties. There's not much I like about Wallace's character. I think she was mainly added (not just to replace Kristen) to increase the amount of conflict in each episode. I wouldn't want to be her partner. Why don't they just do their jobs and remember who they work for? The dramatic takedown scene was horrible. After Wallace tackles the teenager, we see the gun in his right hand with his arm extended away from him. Next, we don't see the struggle but we hear a gunshot. It's not very believable when you don't show the viewers the struggle for the gun. Wallace really should have focused on the gun and his right hand and arm. When Wallace pushes the teenager off her, we see the gun falling out of his right hand but he is shot squarely in the center of the chest. Really, we're supposed to believe this? So whose finger was on the trigger when it fired? Forcing the teenager's hand to point the gun at his chest would severely limit his ability to pull the trigger. Or did Wallace work her finger in and pull the trigger? We never see. Also, look up "5 D's of gun defense." I don't believe CBS has a clue about those rules. I've never been convinced that CBS makes a respected tactical consultant available to the cast and crew. Ugh.
