After a brief attempt at obfuscation on Floss' part, she and Neville are forced to admit the truth to Ben.Floss gets a few moments of horror at the consequences of her actions but unfortunately she soon plunges back into delusion, while Nev is left feeling that things aren't going to go their way.

Meanwhile, Steven and Ailsa are both trying to deal with the problems at the Barlows'.Ailsa gets on her high horse a bit, acting as though Alf's a monster because he thinks about giving Roo a clip round the ear as if she's suddenly invented political correctness, but does at least begin to understand the seriousness of the situation.Steven attempts to negotiate between the two families before deciding, with a fair amount of logic, that Barlow is the Summer Bay Nutter.His attempts to turn detective, and Sandra's worry at the potential consequences, could be quite interesting.
