This story is based on yester years. And the lifestyle, thinking, of people has been captured perfectly. Wow how the human emotions has been enacted by every actor is truly amazing. There are suspense bits in the movie too which was a good reveal towards the end. The fun of college days along with enemity , unity and other range of emotions has been displayed splendidly. The direction is very nice , and every actor has done a great role. At no point I felt that any actore could have done better in that situation. Remids me of the stories narrated by my parents, (movie story falls under same era)It was just like that. No big dramas but feels like a true tale. Loved it. Must watch.

Daredevil Musthafa based on a short story by Poornachandra Tejasvi, tells a story about a Muslim boy getting admission in a college filled with Hindus and how he tries to get along with all of them despite their stereotypical assumptions of him. This coming of age drama deals with friendship, jealousy, crush, betrayal and doesn't give the youngsters more than what they can handle.

The beauty of this story is the honesty in capturing the innocence of these characters. There is an excellent blend of humor with drama for which the writing has to be lauded. From the introduction of each of the key characters and the world the story is set in, the narrative is effective enough to get instantly connected. There is justification to Iyengari's jealousy towards Musthafa and how clueless is Musthafa for the unnecessary hatred he has to face.

It is the strong supporting cast that supports the two main cast - Musthafa (Sishir) and Iyengari (Aditya), while these two are excellent on their own. The final act is obviously a cricket match because what else will unify the people irrespective of religion? What stands out is how director Shashank Soghal sticks to the tone of the source material and doesn't go overboard with any scene for dramatic effect.

Daredevil Musthafa is easily is the best Kannada film of 2023 so far and kudos to the team for doing justice to the source material. A worthy watch in theater indeed.

DareDevil Mustafa A must watch movie for entire audience group. One of the film's strongest assets is its clever and sharp writing. The dialogue is snappy, filled with witty one-liners, and packed with an extra layer of humor. The screenplay strikes a perfect balance between slapstick comedy and intelligent humor, ensuring that there is something for everyone in the audience to enjoy. A movie which can impact the thoughts of humanity in the society. I am still in the hangover of this movie. Each and every character is extraordinary. Best BGM and songs. A wonderful message to the society about Humanity is rendered. A full time family entertainer and makes you feel Nostalgic.

Poochante is a gold mine for Kannada literary world......... It is really admirable that he has brought out the story of the lyrics written by him through the movie........

PooChanThe(the shortened name for the quirky kannada writer Poorna Chandra Tejasvi) always had a way of telling great and complex social narratives in a simple and easy going way, this movie does compelete justice to that style and everyone in the movie seemed to have vowed to push their skills to the limit and wow the audience, you know how you read something and you develop a imaginative environment and faces to the story this film comes very choose to visualising that imagination.

In a time when every media seems to filling us with toxic gas that draws us apart and make us grow animosity against people, this film is a fresh air that reminds we are all people and we are here to be friends and peaceful .

The change in actually story to bring in Usman is just brilliant and kudos to the team on this..

A definite must watch for anyone looking to stay true humanitarian,i daresay if this film sees the success it deserves kannada film industry might go back to its glory days of novels based films..

One of the best movie I have watched recently..Great lyrics and story. The performance was outstanding by Ramanuja and Mustafa. All other actors and scenes are very well performed. The story is so full of acurate content and nicely articulated and didn't see even one single scene deviation from the storyline. These genre movies gives such a nice moral to youths and brings the awareness in society that we are humans first. I would love watch it again with friends and family. This has to been one of the beautifully made Kannada movie and should be one of the milestone achieved by Kannada Moview Industry.

Youngster made very good movie in the first attempt. Keeps interesting from beginning to the end. No fight and violence you can watch with kids. Movie tries to unite people. Good movie for the right time.

Editing and filmography could have been improved.

This kind of new film with new way of narration is very rear in the Kannada film industry. They are able to bring the voice of original story author Tejaswi's voice into screen.

This movie, like Orchestra Mysore, is puerile. The fact that the same set of people are promoting this movie goes on to show that subpar movies are the new benchmark in KFI. This movie is so full of "Secularism" cliches and the usual tropes that it gets annoying (to say the least) after the first few minutes.

In the name of creative liberty, the makers have totally ruined the original story written by Poornachandra Tejaswi. What could have been a forgettable short movie is streched into a feature film. Two minutes of silence for people who contributed to crowdfund this film.

It is sad to witness the decline of KFI with each such film that prioritises some stupid agenda (in this case sermonizing the audience about "Unity in Diversity") over storytelling.

I'm afraid this trend will only continue given the kind of people that are throwing their weight behind such projects. God save KFI.

The DDM movie is awesome. A big credits to a emerging top director Shashank soghal. Each and every actor involved deeply into their given characters. From beginning to end smiles and laughs on your face will be there. Feel good music,given according to that situations.

The director has shown the connection between two different religions. By telling us about "Sarvajanangada shantiya thota" connects us deeply.

Everyone should watch this movie with friends and family .

Daredevil Musthafa, a brave attempt to tell an uncomfortable yet the true story of a society which we all are a part of.

To transform a story written by the legend Tejasvi in itself is an achievement, but the director Shashank Soghal has ensured that the soul of the tale is not lost in translation at any point.

Picturisation of the retro times, fantastic acting by all the newbies and the picturesque background never makes you feel that this is a crowd funded film. To add on, showcasing few important incidents through cartoons is a well thought trick by the team which has been executed well to keep up the pace.

Sampath Sirimanes's lyrics compliments very well with Navneeth Sham's melodious scores. All songs fit into the rhythm and the clinax hits into the soul. Navneeth Sham deserves a special mention for uplifting the emotions throughout the film, especially the second half.

Shishir and Adithya have done a fab job as debutants, but Srivatsa's comic timing in itself is a catalyst that binds funny moments.

All the other actors have justified the storyline. The catchy dialogues have potential of soon becoming teenagers lingo, most of which is part of the actual story by Tejasvi.

To conclude, not just Musthafa, but also the director Shashank Soghal is true Daredevil in a sense that he's taken up the challenge of making a film on a sensitive subject in his debut attempt.

Best movie of the year. Must watch everyone. Im big follower of Mr. Poorna Chandra Tejaswi sir need this type of the movie to Kannada people and also waiting more our kannada movies like this. This is the power Kannada movie. Playing all characters are very good and directions and screen play is very good and all songs are very beautiful this for all age and must watch students and parents. And director Shashank please make choose more like this type of real story and make and present all kannadigas.

This movie is an eye opener to everyone which spreads love and peace. Filled with catchy dialogues, elating music, and innocent characters that feel like they could be real. I feel very close to all of the characters I know them and feel for them. Inspired and taken from a short story written by Poorna Chandra Tejaswi. The story has been wonderfully told, music is to die for especially the climax tune "Sarva Janaangada Shantiya Thota". This movie shows a great lesson that there is strength in unity and enhance mutual relationships among us in order to live in peace with one another. I congratulate to every single person involved in this Movie, On Screen and Off Screen for their dedication and hard work.

Human emotions coupled with religious conflicts in one's mind depicted in a very effective manner by the director. He has also ensured to deliver this experience without hurting the religious sentiments on either side. Even though this move has been created by a novice team, quality of the output says otherwise. It truly feels like this movie has been created by a team of experienced professionals in the field.

Every person has contributed so well for delivering this content that it is difficult to believe that this movie has been created completely by a team of novice people. All actors have done a fabulous job while characters like Iyengary and Usman stand out clearly with a stellar performance, director, editor, screenplay and every other technical person has delivered well. In the current times, this movie feels like an offbeat content and delivering background score for such a screenplay is also an special art and background score has resonated very well to the needs of the content.

All in a all a very refreshing content much aligned to the need of the hour in this ever evolving society where in negative emotions are ruling all our mind over the peace, love, harmony and mutual respect.

In short, very well created product from a beautiful story written by one of the all time greats of Kannada Literary world - K P Poornachandra Tejaswi. Movie is a befitting tribute this great man.

May be for kids am not sure it's boring movie with routine story not sure why this got so much rating.

If you like cricket may be you will watch once even that feels bored , it feels more like a school than a college .

Kids keep bullying Mustafa for no reason and no one says a word.

Its just time pass movie, Only two or three people acted very well jamal and ramanuja mainly, music not that much great , story is not good, if u love cricket then you can watch once or else its totally waste of time and money, i was expecting something interesting going to happen before interval but nothing great thought of coming back after watching first part, but second part bit good because of cricket and ramanuj best acting i dont know how here this much good rating. May be its all paid rating. I gave very less because the rating here is too much so i cant give 5-6 for this sorry for that.

As mentioned in movie.. it's based on thejaswi sir's short story.

Story timeline is in early 90's and concept is to remove stereotypes thoughts from people minds.

Even though message is loud and clear but director narration failed to keep audience busy throughout the movie.

Unnecessary dragging, less scope of acting for many experienced actors.

It felt like somewhere that when they try to send good message to society through movie also stereotyped few.

Positive reviews are there only because of message of this movie not because of story narration or entertainment.

So don't go with reviews.
