Amazing cinematography and witty writing brings you to places no other food shows go. Hand forging knives, making sea salt from the Atlantic Ocean, milking cows to make cheese, milling wheat to make flour are just a few of the many educational techniques you will learn along the way. I cannot imagine a better way to spend an hour(or a few if you like to binge watch). In a world of microwaves and fast food .. Chef reminds us where food and the tools we use to manipulate/cook food, comes from. Watch with friends/family and then try out each recipe. Chef is a great host and the show concept and end result are GREAT!
I also appreciate that Chef shows the effort that goes into cooking food from scratch ... along with the effort is the result and the end result both on the show and in my kitchen - AMAZING!
Thanks to the show, I now follow Chef on social media. It is fun to see his new recipes, watch him cook from scratch and see the classes that Chef hosts.
In summary - you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
