Season 4 is off to a Great start!!

I love this show but some seasons are better than others. THIS current season 4 is starting off with a lot of promise! My husband and I watch on the edge of our seats and discuss the clues and try to figure out the mystery but always have more questions than answers! We can't wait til Wednesday for the next episode! Each season is a new mystery. Even if you haven't seen 1-3, it won't matter because they are different mysteries each season. If you like a great mystery, this show will draw you in! Great acting too!
The Suspense Builds

In the second episode, we learn a lot more about Percy's history. A hidden secret relationship not even her grandparents know about. But it's more than that. There's an interesting conflict that boils to the surface.
As usual, Ambrose (Bill Pullman) is able to discover a lot more by picking up on some key details. The imagery that I've come to love about The Sinner is on full display. Throw in some revealing flashbacks which provide the viewer with more subtle hints.
There's also another secret that feels sinister in nature that Percy might've been tied to. Did it change her? The actress Alice Kremelberg is very good as her. Strikingly beautiful in a haunting way. But so convincing.
I can't wait for Episode 3.

Fascinating characters

This season really came with some fascinating characters. Loved the writing and the acting was terrific. Definitely recommend. It's dark and twisty with tension seeping from every frame. It's probably one of my favorite shows out right now.

The victim at this point is really damaged goods. A young Asian man and his family run a business on the island and he marches to a different drummer. They are treated like dirt on the island. When successful, there is resentment. If they are not, they are seen as weak outsiders. The girl is full of desire but also pulls back because of her family. The boy is confronted and he finally tells about the sick relationship he had with her. She is a dominant figure and looks for punishment for her own actions. We now know where she was the night of her disappearance. Well done pacing and Bill Pullman's Harry is a slow burn.
