Finally...
marymcfarland-0186623 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Melanie's back. It's about damn time. Her throwing Layton directly under the bus, is classic Snowpiercer. This entire train is 8 years of apocalyptic under the bus throwing. I am happy to see some of the old formula.

Wolford (however you spell it) escaped by way of that stupid LJ who just needs a drawer forever. Can't wait to see how it ends.

Oh and...I'm still mad about Pike.

Disappointing

Warning: Spoilers
I've been waiting all season for Melanie to come back. I don't understand why she had to throw Layton under the bus and announce her findings to the entire train turning on her daughter, Ben, everyone. Every season is deteriorating, at this rate I can't see this show having longevity.

Everyone forgot Mel was a dictator except her.
selsmoreroad23 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Apart from josie the actions of the characters in this episode made sense and fit in with their rationale. Melanie exposes the lie to seize power and establish herself train dictator yet again. The irony of her stance on laytons lie given her own lie regarding wilford in season 1 is oblivious to her as she's swallowed by her own hubris. Always believing she's right and should decide for everyone. Wilford has created chaos for his own ends and will make a play for the train. Josie doesn't seem to hate Mel, I find that strange given their last interaction was Mel torturing her and leaving her to be frozen to death. Great episode, chaos and blood to follow and one things for certain between wilford, cavill and layton there will be no truces.

I was positivly suprised

I didnt expect Mel to turn on Layton and her Daughter. This Episode was way better then the ones before and I think it was a little bit cramped and could have been 2 episodes to counter the bad ones. But in the End it turned out really well. Hope i can say the same for the Finale Episode of this Season.

It all comes to this...

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is the best to date and definitely the best of the season. Melanie is back as the train is closing in New Eden. As the people of Snowpiercer are celebrating a new beginning we see how the storyline begins NOW and prepares us for a destructive end.

Wilford is finally free ready to fight Layton along with a neutral teammate on his side, Melanie. That was quite unexpected along with the final scene when Melanie stole the engine from her friends.

9.7/10 for this episode as I'm calling this now: TEAM MELANIE ALL THE WAY!

Ready for the finale, next week...

How tf did melanie survive?
dariohelmi20 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Can please someone explain to me how melanie survived?! Where did she get this little train from and the drugs that put her to sleep?! Wtf!

In general this season was so so bad! No storytelling at all. Just going forth and back with the usual war.

The writers have given up, and so have I

This show has become truly ridiculous. Nothing that happened in season 3 makes any kind of sense, or was any kind of interesting, and like any TV series that jumped the shark, all the characters are now caricatures of their previous selves, making insane choices whose only purpose is to add fake drama. Move on folks, there's nothing to see here.

This is just plain ridiculous. Talk, talk, talk, more closeups, 2 minutes of not even decent action, talk, talk, closepus, closeups, empty talk, empty talk. I will watch next season, first 10 minutes of first episode and last 10 minutes of season finale. The whole show can be watched as a sinopsis before the last episode. We can now see the patern they are using. At the end of each season they will do some weak plot twist and then use that to talk, talk, talk the entire next season.

Stick a fork in it

Warning: Spoilers
... it's done .

This show has from the beginning suffered from a shoddy screenplay and poorly chosen lead actors .

Even that generic brunette was resurrected in this episode, what a bummer ...

The current season is adding insult to injury, and all that, with an even more incoherent script and story telling dictated by an apparently tight budget .

Not that any talent was wasted in that department before, but they at least tried to look like they were trying .

Going round in circles now...
andrewa0519 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Pointless story now, no direction or plan... There was a excellent opportunity to further the post apocalyptic sci fi but instead we're circling back to day 1, shows feeling almightily dull now.

Warning: Spoilers
You are really such a bad person....you were out there drinking your own piss and hoping someone will rescue you...and you finally come back so full of hatred, just to smash everybody's dream and start a war. It is a pity they rescued you. Go away!

It's almost remarkable how no one behaves realistically in this show. Characters seem to be a different person episode to episode. Where is Netflix finding these writers?

Everything was calm until..

Warning: Spoilers
So, Melanie is alive, and I wonder why we wanted her to come back.. what's the point to make a coup? She managed to create chaos for what? To save them from what? The train could have had a problem any day in any place, but going to the new Eden, with all the possible risks, could probably rescue all of them.

And of course, do not forget who warned them about the risks; Wilford. So, considering the source, I wouldn't believe the danger was that great. I believe Melanie just grabbed her chance to take the train under her command again, and Wilford created the exact chaos for him to escape, who by the way was supposed to have become a better person after his survival (let's not forget that his girlfriend was disappointed on him for that exact reason)...

I kinda wanted to see the possible new Eden, even though I am against about the lie of new Eden, but the series has to create chaos every now and then to have something to show us, I assume...

Netflix is done
akaslammin12 August 2022
No wonder Disney is beating Netflix.

This is just a very poorly executed attempt to keep a dead show going but with clearly a much reduced budget and talent.
