Suspenseful wedding movie!
Chartreuse18 June 2022
Natalie is going to be married but catches her fiance with a stripper the night before and kills him. Then. A year later, she goes by Grace and meets Carlos and they fall in love but Jasmine, Carlos' sister, is suspicious of her and tries to prove to the family that Grace isn't the right girl for her brother but Grace has other ideas. This was a well-written script with a strong cast. Definitely recommend!!!

Decent watch
pumping_iron-16 June 2022
The storyline was good. The ending not so much. It appeared that not much thought went into the ending. The main characters were believable. I thought this was a decent watch.

Weird Script Bad Actors
michellesmith-725818 June 2022
Don't get me wrong I love a good cheesy lifetime movie with a little bad acting but this movie was just bad. First off the characters were overly polite to each other. Whoever wrote the script it was almost like they had no idea what to make these characters say and do. They were always saying thank you and being appreciative towards each other. Constantly bringing up things that were not relevant at all. Even the psycho bride was overly nice it was just odd I don't know how to explain it. The ending was VERY weird the whole movie was just bad don't recommend it.

Horrible Acting!
arizonagreta30 July 2023
Lifetime movies are guilty pleasures. They are often ridiculous but that's why they are fun to watch. However, this one was awful. The acting was the absolute worst, especially the woman who played the mother of the groom. She was almost comical. Not even good enough for community theater. The antagonist tried too hard to be over the top. The groom was stilted. The wedding planner was incredibly stereotypical. It was embarrassing. The woman at the strip club was bad too. There is a difference between campy and a complete lack of acting skills. The story itself was dull. No tension. No chemistry between the bride and groom to be. And can someone tell me why the characters in Lifetime movies ALWAYS live in beautiful, spacious, expensive homes. What do they do for a living?

As usual concept done before!

Warning: Spoilers
Right off the bat, five minutes into the movie it becomes clear that the story is very similar to the 2008 TV movie Black Widow starring Elizabeth Berkley. The only difference being the protagonist in that one was a best friend of the almost groom-to-be and in this one the protagonist is the almost groom-to-b

The acting was awful on the most part. Contrary to another contributor's opinion I thought Jasmine the sister (Erin Pineda) did some sort of a decent acting. Ashlee Fuss was pretty terrible at her role. The parents acting was also totally fake.

And as usual the antagonist goes on killing people without wearing gloves. I guess wearing a black hoodie is enough to not leave any DNA or fingerprint traces on crime scenes when it comes to LMN movies huh?

The "protagonist" was awful

She was so unlikable and couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Rooted for the bride to kill off the sister the whole time. Ending sucked. Don't waste your time.

Weak and fake, but very regular...
RosanaBotafogo3 October 2022
It follows Carlos' sister as she finds out he is getting married in a week to Grace, a girl he just met at a strip club. Her sister investigates and is pulled into a whirlwind of events, putting her own life at risk...

Very weak, all very convenient and easy, for the murderous protagonist, objectifying a couple as a happy ending, whatever it may be, and at any cost, but that's ok, revealing and watchable if you like a low-budget, chewed and predictable movie , but here comes the denouement, and the last 10 minutes go too far for the extremely futile and forced, everything in that end, spoiled everything..

Why?

Warning: Spoilers
I love all these low budget lifetime movies, and this one just made me create the account and write the review because... I can't find a reason for that ending.

I hated the sister the whole movie, I was rooting for the crazy bride the whole time!

There were so many things she could have said to get away with the murder, why break down at that point, why admit to the rest of the murders? There's no way to prove that she killed the last girl even if she was near the room in the hospital... at least that's what I learned from watching law and order!

Such a waste of potential for a great ending where the sister could have looked like a lunatic while we all knew she was always right... pitty.

Bad and lame

Warning: Spoilers
"Here Kills the Bride"

Stupid title for a stupid movie, because the bride wasn't killed - she went after everyone who ticked her off to kill THEM. The movie opens on the psycho villain spying on her fiance at his bachelor party. When it was over, she killed him because there was a stripper at the party, who performed mainly for him since he was the groom. A few months later, she has a new fiance and goes with him to meet his parents and sister because they will be getting married in a week. (The reviewer here who stated he met her at a strip club was wrong: according to his story told to his parents and sister that first day, they met when she performed CPR on his friend who had collapsed on the way to lunch.)

Jasmine, the sister, is shocked that they're getting married so soon since they've only known each other a few months. She overhears another woman in the restroom with Grace (the psycho bride-to-be) talking to her about the strip club they used to work in together, and that sets Jasmine off into secretly investigating Grace. Meanwhile, Grace seems to be everywhere that anyone is talking about her, overhearing what they say, and then coming after them soon afterward to kill them. She also knew Jasmine looked in her purse to find her driver's license even though she was in another room trying on her wedding dress. Of course, after Jasmine gathers info about her from various sources and tells it all to her brother to warn him, he dismisses it by saying he already knew it and tells her to leave.

Will Grace be shown to be the psycho criminal she is by the end and will he acknowledge that his sister was right all along? Unfortunately, you'll have to watch the thing to find out - try not to suffer too much throughout, as I did.

Grace somehow knowing that Jasmine looked in her purse in another room is just one of the several contrived plot holes in this movie, that - along with the bad script, bad acting, stilted dialogue, and bad direction - earns it a zero rating. I only gave it a one because that's the lowest possible rating here on imdb.

Grade F / 1 out of 10.

Simply ugly!
knqttwg31 August 2023
This film is simply ugly! Weak story, bad actors, a lot of stereotypes from every possible point of view.

The script is so typical to be ridiculous at last: future husband's sister is like the mighty Cassandra: she tells the truth but nobody believes her until the epilogue... Is it really so hard to find out something more original?

The actors look like statues without passion and skills.

A complete waste of time. Watch something else.

A complete disaster that makes difficult to find enough words to complete the review because the title tells everything you need to know. Embarrassing!!!!!!!
