I enjoyed this episode. Seems like Espinoza's pulling rank on Jamie is a sign of a contentious relationship to come. Can't stand the DA. She's all "law and order" only when it suits her. Watch your back Erin. Great to see Jack at the family dinner table but why no mention of it? Did he graduate or just home for a visit? Soooo happy to see Danny go out and have some fun, especially with Maggie, the medium. I think they make a great couple. It's been four seasons since Linda died. It's time for Danny to start dating.

Hate is hate. Except in a lefty controlled city, where hate against law enforcement is encouraged.
A huge star to Lauren Patten, as demonized cop Rachel Witten. The pain and angst in her face as she was dragged across the coals for defending herself was palpable. I'm afraid for her character, as it was hinted that she might do something to herself.
And the ending? Danny Reagan channeling his inner NKOTB!

Once again, Blue Bloods give an accurate look at what's really happening in NYC. Police being handicapped by over regulation, hate from uneducated public, and lack of support from witnesses. As per usual, they show multiple sides of the same issue, and they showed things from the perspective of the cops, which qe never see or hear about. Looking forward to another great season.

"All lives matter" is a slogan used to drown out "Black Lives Matter". The incidents in this episode demonstrably show some lives matter more than others. The Mayor calls out the shooting of Jewish children a hate crime, then calls the shooting of a black child "an isolated incident", and not a word about Vietnamese deli owners who shop was being vandalized. While none of them were actually hate crimes, the fact that more attention was given to one particular victim over another is quite revealing.

Can we get some writers with some creativity and realism. Same plot.. cop in trouble with public, conflict with bosses, and fight with mayor cause need more cops. So let's keep this going for the umpteenth time and why not through in psychic to do the seasoned detectives job. SMH really that's all you got after 11 seasons. Get some new writers please!

I waited all through the pandemic for the new season of Blue Bloods and this complete garbage is the best they can do as the opening episode for season 12, the writers should be ashamed. And what the hell was with that slap that black guy gives the cop outside the shop as he's puffing out his cheeks ffs lmao.

Bad writers write about Mediums when they run out of plots. Get rid of the stupidity, writers. Mediums aren't real. Deus ex machina is real. Mediums are fake. Bad writing is evident. Mediums cannot solve crimes using a sock. Danny Reagan is the best. End the Mediums. Promote Jamie. Retire Mediums. Have the PC quit in a fiery rage. Kill off the Medium.
