This cinematic masterpiece shows the greatest of both the cultural sights of Louisiana mixed with phenomenal comedic genius of the Andy Griffith Show.
When I tell you I was enthused, that is a massive understatement. Director Jim McCullough Sr. Has done it again!
The stirring romantic subplot was perfectly woven with wonderful, action-packed canine high jinks. I was a little confused about the time frame of the chihuahuas baby making process, but I know they are small, and can probably reproduce quickly.
The constant shivering of the titular character as well as "el niña" was so funny! Also, Nina's past romantic escapades provided a wonderful backdrop for what progressed into a beautiful relationship between her and Nacho Chihuahua, whom she also refers to as "my queso chip" which had me in STITCHES!
So funny, so clever, full of lovable characters and a perfect original song in "Don't cry for Maria, El Niña" which moved me close to tears.
