I could watch this again and again

This is easily the finest episode of any TV series I've seen. Everything is brilliantly done and seamlessly integrated from the start.

We have jeffster overdubbing a brilliant action set piece, a plane full of commandos, Sarah looking the most stunning she's ever been and enough moments to make you cry. Oh, and kung fu.

In every episode they seem to pick just the right music. In this episode they truly excelled.

If you want a happy Chuck ending, leave it at this as subsequent seasons just cannot match.

One thing that doesn't work plot wise is the chuck /Sarah relationship. At the end of last episode they kissed and finished holding hands. At the same time Sarah wanted to go on the run with Chuck. Now we're at least a day later and seemingly they never spent the night together, and the next morning Sarah is off to a new mission in a different country. Makes no sense at all. The story changes, of course, but at that moment things were set.

"Guys...I know Kung Fu"!

One of the best lines in the Chuck universe!! (That, and Casey's "Chuck me".) And this episode is one of the best in the entire series. I love the Steven Bartowski arc(s), and I was even able to stomach the Woodcombs (Sr) and Jeffster. Ellie looked gorgeous and got the wedding she'd wanted all along. And in the end Sarah made the right choice. A great cliffhanger leading into S3E1.

Perfection

Perfection from start to finish.

In fact the last three episode of this season are outstanding but the big finale is EPIC!

Jeffster performing over one of the greatest action scenes ever created for TV is superb. Makes me so happy I cry watching it. Sensational.

The music choices are chefs kiss it always is I suppose. However this particular episode it's just comforting and perfect.

Like I said, this is a perfect episode of TV. I agree with another critic that the Sarah / Chuck issue is a bit odd but given the missions and the chaos it makes a bit sense. Sarah has always been torn between duty and love.

Honestly what an episode !!!!!

in the end, the wedding Ellie really wanted, the best part Warning: Spoilers
2 more quitting Buy More, Emmett really thinking Chuck hitting on him ?? he really is loony, Chuck is like NO MORE BUY MORE, NO MORE YOU, AND YOU CAN TAKE YOUR FLAG AND YOUR JOB AND SHOVE IT, Casey pokes head in with ditto.

Beckman still wants Chuck as a spy still, (think she wised up ?), Chuck turning her down, as he still don't think he's a spy/annalist...uh wonder what he thinks he has been doing and not the stuff with the CIA but his own figuring out of things, (the back of his poster), even with other things, not taken into account on those missions, including when he and Sarah took off to rescue his dad...

Poor Chuck, thinking he is loosing Sarah to Bryce, again. Looking for place to collect himself before the wedding is to start, runs into Ted after discovering bodies. The so called "politeness" of Ted before the threat of blood bath if Chuck don't do what told to do, calls the number left by Casey, then stammering to Morgan who was going to talk to him, that its the rings he has to go home to get, to pull Sarah aside and tell her what he said (she knows he has the rings), Ellie will kill him, 20 mins before its to start, so Morgan comes up with way to stall, he take blame, Jeffster, Chuck "touched". Morgan tells Sarah (funny stuff with Devon's dad), her face "says" it all, total agreement, any means at all to stall.

Cant find Chuck, an the blond one gone too said by Devon's mom, Honey to Woody and Steven, Steven, hearing this knows somethings wrong, Devon, might suspect a bit but hasn't had it "hit" him yet, oh ya the Bartowski's weird family according to Woody. Sarah and Steven talking, she telling Ted and men in the "dinning area" of the place, Steven to check if more as she thinks of something, do love the "computer thing" on Steven's arm as he gives her directions.

Morgan on stage intro for Jeffster, though all confused, but love that when Morgan tells Devon for reasons cant tell, am saving Chuck, so quickly registers with Devon, he oh OK I with you (bit more funny stuff going on), but Devon now OK with delay and will tell his parents something like that. The music, least loud (can he/they really sing ?), to cover up all that will/is happening in another room. The 8 knives, 1 gun (Bryce) and Fulcrum really want Chuck dead, Casey and Crew literately crashing into room, glass breaking, guns firing, well they "win" with Steven finally after 20yrs knocking out Ted and the sprinklers go off thanks to Jeffster and this wedding in ruins.

Chuck really ain't "normal", uses the $ given by gov to give his sis her dream wedding, after saying he wants to be normal and safe his sis in normal ways, not save sis (all) with a special forces team, using his $ and Sarah/gov to pull dream wedding off is not normal, he just kinda smiles.

As wedding is going on, Bryce spying on it (he "dead" cant be seen), talks to Sarah, she not going with him, she shakes head no, he sees how she feels about Chuck. Meanwhile back at Castle, bye bye Ted, shot by someone part of diff group more powerful than Fulcrum, 1st mention The Ring, though not right then, and all but Casey (owes Casey why not killing him) but everyone else dead.

Their courtyard reception, Ellie thanking Chuck for the wedding, was his present not real super powers, Morgan and Chuck talking following dreams, Bryce taking chances, there talking to Steven, (we find out he really was being a friend to Chuck, even with the kicking out of), Steven "flashing" on the 1 picking up Bryce, he not a good guy, will need help. Sarah leaves an Chuck will follow, after his dad says let her go, Chuck actually says he loves her, Steven takes off his arm comp, gives to Chuck saying cant go after you, so now he is taking over part for his dad, with Be Safe Son. Says he is going to Casey and Sarah as he is a Bartowski shows arm comp, he can help them, they know it.

Bryce shot, Casey an Sarah shoot out, Chuck finds way into Intersect room with Bryce, says Sarah and Casey need help, but Bryce really cant, he dying, has way to destroy intersect, gives to Chuck so he can, but Chuck "uploads" himself before destroying, does not fall over (which is another reason don't think was completely taking away by what his dad did, typed enough here will type more in another why I think this), destroyed just before the others, ring agents "won" bringing in Casey and Sarah, with them not happy its destroyed, go to kill see something in Chucks eyes, know he uploaded, bonus Kung fu and kicks all their buts with a shocked Casey and Sarah standing there stunned, they don't help and he don't need help...Chuck realizing he is a spy/hero.

Left ya hanging season ending, least when aired on TV but love owning these on DVD/blue-ray or watching online
