  [Peg enters the backyard holding a coffee mug] 

  Peg Pete : [in awe; at Pete's barbecue]  Oh, my! It looks wonderful! Is it that pottery kiln you promised me?

  Pete : No, it's a barbecue! This baby will roast an ostrich!

  Peg Pete : Oh, then. I better get some food ready. Oh, here. Try this.

  [Peg gives Pete the coffee mug she was holding] 

  Pete : Thanks, Pookey.

  [Pete grabs the mug and takes a sip of the coffee; he spits it out] 

  Peg Pete : Do you like it?

  Pete : [lisping]  Yes! What is this stuff?

  Peg Pete : Tasmanian tar roast coffee. It was on sale so I bought 50 pounds!

  [Peg goes back inside] 

  Peg Pete : [the coffee burns a hole in the mug and lands on the grass destroying the soil] 

  Pete : Yuck!

  [Pete sees that the mug is shattering] 

  Pete : [to himself]  Hmm. Maybe I could use it for charcoal lighter.
