Historically relevant, otherwise forgettable Warning: Spoilers
This 13-minute documentary was the first effort by Supriyo Sen as a writer and director and he has not been too prolific after this was made back in 2009. It shows us the life directly at the Indian-Pakistani border. We hear from a couple boys how the border impacts their lives, but also some general pretty random facts about their families. We see political parades and hear about how proud people are of their nationalities. This film actually won tons of awards all over the world after it was released, but I cannot really see why. Apart from the interesting historical context, there is nothing too memorable about this work. It could have been much better looking at the premise that it tells us about. Not recommended.
