This is another one of those fly-by-night schemes that Ralph gets all wrapped in. When his brother-in-law (whom he despises) gives him information about a hotel that's for sale, he jumps at the chance because he thinks he is stealing the idea. Alice's brother is a notorious loser and Ralph should know better. Early in this series, there was no money to do anything. in some recent ones, there seems to be a fair amount. In past episodes, Ralph has lost all the money on his schemes.
One funny thing in this one. The bell signals thing with Norton.
